Tyson Fury Vs. Derek Chisora III On Dec.3rd At Tottenham In London

By Charles Brun: Tyson Fury will defend his WBC heavyweight title against #14 WBC Derek Chisora in a trilogy match on December 3rd at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England.

Fury literally couldn’t get any lower than this if he tried. In the eyes of the fans, this fight is an abomination, and it shouldn’t happen, and yet it is. Tyson going from potentially fighting Anthony Joshua to instead facing Chisora is a huge disappointment for fans.

Fury (32-0-1,  23 KOs) has already soundly beaten the journeyman Chisora (32-12, 23 KOs) twice. Still, he reportedly wants to use him as a tune-up to get ready for his undisputed match against IBF, WBA & WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in February or March of next year.

The ‘Gypsy King’ Fury is just begging for trouble by choosing to fight Chisora next, as this fight might not bring in the numbers to cover the purses. Fans don’t want to watch Fury beat up on the over-the-hill 38-year-old Chisora for the third time.

They’ve already seen how awful Chisora looked in recent fights against Kubrat Pulev, Joseph Parker, and Oleksandr Usyk, and they don’t want to watch him getting beaten up by Fury in a non-sporting fight.

Fury-Chisora is being finalized for December 3rd, and it’s expected to be officially announced soon.

The 34-year-old Fury has acted erratic recently, retiring after his win over a godawful Dillian Whyte in April and then coming out of retirement to try and set up a fight with Anthony Joshua.

Fury then blew his chances for the Joshua fight by setting two deadlines, neither of which he met. The way that Fury aged like an ogre wrecked any chances he had of fighting Joshua.

It was tragic the way Fury blew his shot at getting a massive payday by trying to rub Joshua’s nose into the dirt by showing the boxing world that he was the A-side and that he ordered AJ to toe the mark. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fighter blow it as badly as Fury did with the Joshua negotiations.

“Tyson Fury-Derek Chisora trilogy bout for the WBC heavyweight championship will take place at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Dec. 3. [The] Fight is expected to be streamed on ESPN+ stateside,” said Mike Coppinger of ESPN.

I’d always say I’d fight Derek Chisora at the end of my career,” said Fury.
