When two Molotov cocktails were thrown at the building on Sunday night, the Cuban Embassy in Washington, D.C., was “the target of a terrorist attack,” according to Bruno Rodrguez Parrilla, the country’s minister of foreign affairs.
According to Rodrguez Parrilla, the embassy workers “suffered no harm” and “details are being worked out.”

The embassy has been the target of two violent attacks since April 2020, when “an individual shot several rounds against the embassy using an assault rifle,” according to Rodrguez Parrilla.
Cuba has often warned the US authorities about anti-Cuban groups’ use of terrorism when they feel they are operating with impunity, he said.
When formal diplomatic ties between the two countries were normalized in 2015, the Cuban Embassy reopened.
