Chubb, a global property and casualty insurer, has appointed Stephen Vaughan as Head of its European Personal Risk Services (PRS), division, effective June 1, subject to regulatory approval.
In this new role, Vaughan will be responsible for the performance and development of Chubb’s high net worth personal lines business in the UK and Continental Europe.
Currently, Vaughan serves as European Underwriting Centre Manager for the business.
When he takes on this new role, Vaughan will succeed Annmarie Camp who is returning to the US to take up a new role as Business Development Leader for Chubb in North America.
Overall, Vaughan brings a wealth of industry experience towards his new role. He joined Chubb in 2004 and throughout his tenure with the firm, he has held a variety of underwriting and management roles of increasing seniority.
Addressing Vaughan’s appointment, Roberts said: “I am delighted Stephen has been appointed to this role. With two decades of experience working within our Personal Risk Services team he brings with him a wealth of expertise and insights to help ensure we are best able to meet the constantly evolving needs of our high net worth clients both now and in the future.”
Chubb recently named Annmarie Camp as its North America Business Development Leader.
Elsewhere, Chubb is expanding its marine business in Asia with the appointment of a new Head of Marine in Malaysia; and by also rolling out a full suite of insurance products and services in the Philippines.
